Forging Modern Spaces with Nature's Blueprint
View Our Work Let's TalkWe've spent the last decade working with timber, learning what it wants to do rather than forcing it into shapes that fight its nature. There's something honest about wood that you don't get with concrete or steel.
Based here in Vancouver, we've seen firsthand how buildings can either work with the Pacific Northwest climate or constantly battle against it. Spoiler: the ones that work with it last longer and cost less to maintain. Our approach mixes traditional craftsmanship with current tech - think 3D modeling meets hand-cut joinery.
Whether you're looking at a new residential build, commercial space, or bringing an old heritage structure back to life, we're all about creating spaces that'll still be standing strong in 50 years without needing constant babysitting.
More About UsPeople sometimes think sustainable architecture means compromising on design or budget. That hasn't been our experience at all. When you plan things right from the start, green building often saves money in the long run.

Forget the corporate jargon. Here's how we actually work with clients from first coffee to final walkthrough.
We grab coffee, walk the site, talk about what you're after. No sales pitch, just getting a feel for the project.
Sketches, mood boards, 3D renders. We iterate until it clicks. Usually takes 2-3 rounds of tweaking.
All the technical drawings, permits, structural calcs. The boring but necessary stuff that keeps buildings from falling down.
We stick around during construction because contractors always have questions. Plus site visits are way more fun than desk work.
Honestly, timber's been around forever, but the tech around it has exploded in the last decade. Cross-laminated timber, glulam beams - this stuff can do things that would've seemed impossible when we started out.
Plus there's the carbon sequestration angle. A timber building is basically a carbon storage unit that people can live or work in. Try getting that from a concrete tower.
We're not anti-other materials - sometimes steel or concrete makes more sense. But for a lot of projects in BC, timber's sitting right here in our backyard, and it just works better.

We're always up for discussing new ideas over coffee. Even if you're just in the early thinking stages, it's good to chat about possibilities before things get too locked in.
Give us a call or shoot us an email. We typically get back within 24 hours, unless we're out on a site visit somewhere with questionable cell service.
